Copper kettle, with nickel plated interior. With use, a lustrous reddish/golden brown patina will gradually develop. Being made of copper, it's heat-efficient, lightweight and naturally antibacterial. Copper also has the property to break down chlorine in water, making it a perfect piece for boiling water.
It's suitable for use on gas and electric hobs only. Not suitable for induction hobs. After use, wipe off any excess water with a clean cloth and let it dry naturally. Gently hand-wash with a soft sponge. Do not use steel scrubbers or scouring powder. To remove the green copper rust, mix equal amounts of vinegar and salt, polish with a soft cloth, rinse with water and wipe off the moisture.
