Peter Shire
Since the 1970s, Peter Shire has been working at the intersection of craft, fine art, and industrial design. He is perhaps best known for his work with the Memphis Group, where he designed products alongside Ettore Sottsass, Nathalie Du Pasquier and Shiro Kuramata.
Combining architectural forms with humour and suprising functionality, his mugs are a Momosan shop favourite. Each piece is handpainted and entirely unique, drawing inspiration from Shire's neighbourhood in Echo Park and the ever-changing city of Los Angeles.
