Nambu tekki (cast iron) pan, finished with a natural Japanese lacquer coating. A versatile pan that can be used both on the stovetop and in the oven.
Each piece is handmade by Kamasada, a renowned ironware studio based in Morioka, a city known for its cast iron. Kamasada is run by Nobuho Miya, a master craftman whose ancestors founded the workshop in the Meiji era. Miya's pieces artfully combine traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern Scandinavian design influences.
