An organically-inspired piece by Jochen Holz, a German glass maker based in London. Created using the traditional Venetian Incalmo technique of fusing pieces of hot glass, the jug features a subtly warped body and playful three-coloured design with coloured rim.
Jochen's work is informed by an ongoing exploration of the possibilities and restrictions of working with glass. Each piece contains evidence of the making process, with a spontaneity and playfulness rarely seen in functional glassware.
