A bundle of palo santo sticks, a South American wood used since ancient times as incense. Part of the citrus family, the wood has an amazing sweet scent with notes of pine, mint and lemon. When burned it creates a pleasant and fresh smoke that works well in keeping away mosquitoes and other flying insects.
Literally meaning 'holy wood' in Spanish, palo santo was used by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy to purify, cleanse, and to get rid misfortune and negative thoughts.
Our palo santo has been harvested sustainably from a reserve in the Amazon of naturally fallen trees and branches.
