Shino Takeda is a Japanese ceramicist based in New York.
Growing up amongst the traditional pottery towns of Kyushu, Takeda felt a sense of artistic freedom when she settled in New York City. Her work is an appropriation of traditional Japanese art forms mixed with the freshness of NYC.
