Bowls from Los Angeles based artist Peter Shire. Combining architectural forms with humour and surprising functionality. Each piece is hand-painted and entirely unique.
Since the 1970s, Shire has been working at the intersection of craft, fine art, and industrial design. He is perhaps best known for his work with the Memphis Group, where he designed products alongside Ettore Sottsass, Nathalie Du Pasquier and Shiro Kuramata.
